Seasonal clean-ups
Twice a year, the property gets reset.
Spring decides how the season starts. Autumn decides whether the lawn survives the winter in good shape. These two visits do more for a property than anything else we sell.
Spring clean-up
Undoing what winter did
Plows push sand and gravel onto lawn edges all winter, road salt burns the strip along the driveway, leaves that blew in during December are still sitting in the beds, and the turf is matted flat. None of that fixes itself.
- Leaves, sticks and storm debris removed and hauled away
- Matted turf de-thatched so new growth gets light and air
- Plow sand and salt residue cleared off lawn edges
- Beds cleaned out, edges re-cut, perennials cut back
- Fresh mulch where beds need it
Fall clean-up
Not one visit — as many as the trees take
Mature maples across Thornhill and North York do not drop on a schedule that suits anybody. A single clean-up booked for the first week of November leaves half the leaves still in the canopy and the other half on your lawn until April.
- Repeat visits through the drop, not one pass and done
- Final cut at the correct winter height
- Fall fertilizer applied while roots are still active
- Beds cleared, downspout lines and hard surfaces blown clean
- Everything hauled off — no bags left at the curb
Timing
When to book each one
Spring: April
As soon as the ground firms up and the last of the plow sand is off the lawn. Booking in March gets you an early slot.
Fall: October – November
Booked as a series rather than a date. We come back through the drop until the last tree is bare.
One-off resets
Bought a neglected property, or a tenant left the yard a mess? We do single reset visits, then you decide about maintenance.

Clean-up questions
Do you take the leaves away?
Yes. Everything is hauled off as part of the job — no bags left at the curb for you to deal with.
How many fall visits will I need?
On a property with mature maples, usually three. Newer subdivisions with young trees often need one or two.
Can you do just the beds?
Yes. Bed clean-outs, cut-back and mulch can be booked without the lawn work.
Do you cut back perennials in fall or spring?
Most in fall, but we leave anything that feeds birds or holds snow for insulation, and cut those back in spring instead.
