Based on Applewood Cres in Concord, working across Vaughan, Toronto and York Region — designing and building outdoor spaces, keeping them maintained, and clearing them when the snow comes.
The name
Why “Ikigai”
Ikigai is the Japanese word for the reason a person gets up in the morning — the place where what you are good at, what you enjoy and what people actually need overlap. It is a serious word to borrow, so we try to earn it the only way available to us: by doing ordinary work to an unusual standard. A straight bed edge. A base compacted in lifts when nobody will ever see it. A driveway cleared before six. Nobody writes poetry about that, and you notice immediately when it is missing.

We stay in Vaughan, north Toronto and York Region. A crew that spends its day in traffic cuts corners by late afternoon.
Written prices
Flat per-visit, per-season or per-project figures with the inclusions listed. No hourly meters, no “starting at”.
The same crew
The people who quote your property are the people who work on it. They learn where the sprinkler heads are and which gate sticks.
We call you first
If weather moves your day, you hear it from us before you notice. That is the whole trick to being trusted with a gate code.
What we do not do
Honest limits
We are a landscaping and property company, not a general contractor. We do not do pools, decks or structural work, and we do not pretend a job is ours when it belongs to a trade that does it better. If that is what your property needs, ask us anyway — pointing you at the right person costs us nothing and saves you a bad month.
